Waddle Dees are common inhabitants of Popstar, and sometimes other planets as well, appearing as enemies and friends. They waddle around aimlessly, mostly being peaceful creatures to the characters appearing near them. Many are seen as servants to King Dedede.
They may carry spears, float to the ground with parasols, fly up with balloons, be as ghosts or genies, or more. However they do not give any Copy Abilities themselves unless one is holding an item that bears an ability.
Physical Appearance[]
Many Waddle Dees are short, tangerine creatures, somewhat resembling Kirby himself and his species. They have tan, pear-shaped faces, lacking no mouths whatsoever. Most of them have ovular chestnut-colored eyes, rosy blushes and have stubby honey feet and hands. Their colors vary depending on the types of Waddle Dees.
Behavior[]
As stated above, Waddle Dees waddle around levels aimlessly, occasionally leaving Kirby alone and runs/hops around the stage, otherwise bumping into Kirby, making him lose some health.

Waddle Dees returned in the sequel once again. Their roles mirrors to that of Kirby: Right Back At Ya, but some of the species members such as Gleam Dee and King Doo worked for different groups while remained unaffiliated with King Dedede.
